Quality equipment matters for client confidence: 1080p or higher webcam ($50–$200), USB microphone for clear audio ($30–$100), professional lighting ring light ($40–$100) for video quality, and a secondary monitor ($150–$300) to display documents while viewing the signer.

RON requires reliable, fast internet: minimum 25 Mbps upload speed recommended (many RON platforms recommend more). Use wired connection (ethernet) instead of WiFi for stability. Have a mobile hotspot backup in case your primary internet fails during a signing.
